Leadership
Tri-County Ambulance Service, Inc. was founded in 1984 by the current owner and Chief Executive Officer, Kevin A. Farrell. Mr. Farrell has had experience as a firefighter and Advanced EMT. He is a working CEO and takes pride in the company that he created and led over the years. His level of commitment to quality medical transportation continues to be reflected in his mission statement.

Scope of Services
Tri-County is a private provider that is designed to provide emergency medical care and non-emergency medical care to health care agencies. Tri-County is fully certified to perform first response emergency medical services and will render aid and assistance to local fire EMS when requested, however, Tri-County is a special company designed to:
A. Respond to emergencies out of health care facilities.
B. Transport form health care facilities back home.
C. Transport of residence to a health care facility.
D. Transport from one health care facility to another.
E. Help in a mass casualty incident or occurrence.
F. Provide aid in a natural disaster.

Service Area
Lake, Cuyahoga, and Geauga Counties are primary areas of patient transport. Satellite stations staffed 24 hours daily extends the range of responses within reasonable time limits. Tri-County Ambulance is licensed for medical transportation statewide and nationally as long as the patient originates or terminates in the state of Ohio.

1. WHERE CAN I SEND PAYMENT?
You should send all payments to 7000 Spinach Drive, Mentor, Ohio 44060. You may pay by check or credit/debit card. You can also make payments over the phone via credit/debit card by calling us at 440-951-4600.
2. WHAT IF I AM UNABLE TO PAY THE ENTIRE BALANCE OF MY ACCOUNT?
If you call our billing office we will help you set up an interest free payment plan within your means to take care of the balance.
3. WILL MEDICARE COVER WHEELCHAIR VAN/AMBULETTE SERVICES?
No. The only insurance plans that cover wheelchair van services are traditional Medicaid or managed care Medicaid plans. Medicare covers ambulance transports only.
4. WILL MY INSURANCE COVER TRIPS GOING TO DOCTORS APPOINTMENTS BY AMBULANCE?
No. Insurance providers such as Medicare do not cover doctors appointments by ambulance.
5. WILL INSURANCE COVER TRIPS GOING FROM ONE HOSPITAL TO ANOTHER BY AMBULANCE?
There needs to be a qualification such as specialized care not offered at the current facility for insurance to cover the transport.
